PSI Collaborates with Mishka Project to Present Inclusive and Meaningful Fashion in Solo

Solo, July 20, 2025 – A new chapter for the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), now known as Partai Super Tbk, was officially launched during the National Congress held at the Edutorium of Muhammadiyah University Surakarta (UMS), Solo. This momentous occasion was marked by the unveiling of PSI’s new logo, featuring an elephant symbolizing strength, intelligence, solidarity, and wisdom. The logo change reflects the party’s rebranding efforts, reinforcing its identity as a youth-driven political movement that champions diversity, anti-corruption, and inclusivity.
During the congress, PSI also announced the appointment of Kaesang Pangarep, son of Indonesia’s seventh president, as the newly elected Chairman for the 2025–2030 term.
"The PSI logo has officially changed to an elephant. The elephant is a symbol of strength, intelligence, resilience, and solidarity — values we want to instill in every PSI cadre: clear thinking, moving together, and staying strong in the face of obstacles," said Kaesang Pangarep during his speech in front of President Prabowo Subianto.
Aligning with this renewed spirit, PSI partnered with Mishka Project by Makaila Haifa in a fashion collaboration titled “Persembahan Nusantara”. Mishka Project is a social enterprise focused on empowering refugee women in Indonesia. This collaboration represents a real embodiment of shared values between PSI and Mishka Project, particularly in advocating for women's rights, youth engagement, and cultural diversity. It also resonates with Presidential Regulation No. 125 of 2016, which affirms Indonesia’s commitment to human rights-based and humanitarian responses to refugees.
In addition to Mishka Project, the collaboration featured renowned Indonesian designers such as Melahyar, Ferry Sunarto, and Solo-based local brand COZMEED, each presenting three curated looks. Mishka Project was entrusted with showcasing a Ready-To-Wear (RTW) collection featuring modern, casual silhouettes with artistic painting techniques, accessorized with bucket hats and tote bags inspired by PSI’s new elephant logo. The accessories were handmade by Anqaa, a refugee from Yemen and an active volunteer of the Mishka Project community.
The stage performance was further enlivened by 20 professional dancers from Solo, followed by a fashion show by all collaborators. The beats of the music set the tone as twelve models confidently walked the runway, presenting the striking collaborative pieces. The captivating choreography was crafted by the talented choreographer Edwan Handoko, affectionately known as Papah Edwan, who played a key role in delivering a harmonious visual showcase.
During the event, the Mishka Project team expressed deep appreciation to PSI for the trust and opportunity. “To us, this is more than a collaboration — it’s a meaningful show of support for our mission of empowering women,” said Hida, founder of Mishka Project.
More than just fashion, this collaboration aims to send a powerful message: political uniforms don’t have to be rigid or boring. With the right creative approach, they can be stylish, inclusive, and still carry the identity and spirit of a progressive political movement. Through the lens of fashion, politics can be celebrated in a more youthful, bold, and inspiring way.
Congratulations to Kaesang Pangarep on his new leadership as Chairman of PSI. May his youthful energy continue to drive PSI forward in making politics cleaner, bolder, and more exciting for all.
